History of Learning Languge:

I was interested in learning English and Thai languages. During 1980-1987 my family was so poor and my mother did not have any money to pay for any additional learning courses beside the government provided classes.

Each evenings, I was watching an Engish Teacher from a window and listened to him and wrote whatever he said in our language, but the teacher did not given me a chance to watch him from a window of his class and asked me to leave or facie an arrest for watching him teach.

It was in 1986 from that day I decided to learn and have a strong commitment to learn and change my future. I learned most of the language by myself or working and learning at the same time.

I believe in education no matter who you are as long as you are determine to read and look for a better life you will be fine.

To Those Whose Helpe Me Growth,

I would like thank my English Teacher Mr. Peter, Khun Pramuth and my computer Science teacher Mr. Prasit who gave me an opportunity to learn and to study at the Surin Teacher College as a volunteer assistant to the professor. During this period Thailand government did not have a policy to allow Cambodian refugees to receive an education in Thailand. So in turn they found a way to allow me to recieve my education.

Our location in Surin was considered to be a top secret location and not allow anyone to go out without an approval by Thai Officer. I was banned to learn and must find a way to study whereever I live so I walked to the Surin Teacher College in which about 5 km from where I lived until I bought a bicycle. I always watched them from a window and observed what they learned.

My hard work now has paid off, because I got a very good job at the UNTAC even FUNCINPEC did not give me a position or consider me for any position but I could not forget the FUNCINPEC because of the lack of democracy.

FUNCINPEC has not failed but an individual leader has failed its principles and betrayed thousands members who fought for it.

I also owe thanks to Mr. Lu Lay Sreng who was my boss and allowed me to work for his department and saved me from being sent back to the battlefield during May 1989 and it has changed my life.

I am swearing under oath to those who have helped me that I will not betray your faith and determination in to your continuing support. I will serve my duty as a man, with respect to all laws, dignity, honesty and loyalty to the country I was born in and adopted country that has accepted me, United State of America.

May GOD Bless us all.
